More Peace Starts with a Baby Step

If you want more peace, time for thinking and contemplation, try meditation. Two free apps for iPhone I like are: Insight Timer and OMG I Can Meditate! Or get signed up for Oprah and Deepak’s free 21-day Meditation Challenge.

Do you want to eat healthy? Cook a healthy meal, using a menu planning app like ALLRecipes.com, or eMeals.com.

How about becoming more fit? You could start with a walk every day, or a video at home. You could use a fitness app, a pedometer or a fit bit and start to measure your steps every day. You could also join a gym like Planet Fitness for $10/month (like I did with my son).

How about become a better partner, parent or leader? I have loads of suggestions on books and CD’s you can read or listen to. I will be posting these on my Pinterest Page so check there for future updates!

OR how about something simple, like reconnect with old friends? It just takes a phone call. One of my colleagues calls it “putting the social back into social networking”!

Get inspired. Try something new. It’s a brave new world.
